CamTronics at CFT: MiniFlex push cameras and smoke testing

Whoever wants to look into tight runs – downpipes, connections, collector pipes in small dimensions – needs a camera that gets around bends and still delivers a usable image. That is exactly what the MiniFlex2 systems from CamTronics stand for; alongside them, the EasySmoker makes visible where a pipe really vents. Both stand in our sales programme.

Official dealer for Germany

The contract partner for German customers is CFT Group Deutschland GmbH in Erding: advice before the purchase, introduction after delivery, orders run through the group shop SEMPERDEAL.

The CamTronics range

MiniFlex2 push cameras in lengths from 15 to 50 metres, plus camera heads, push cables and push aids for bends and branches. The EasySmoker produces the test smoke for tightness and connection checks. Which length and which head fit your pipes, we settle on the phone.

What these instruments are used for

The MiniFlex is a push camera for tight runs. Head, cable, length and push aid must fit the pipes in front of you, and that selection is our part of the work – we carry the full MiniFlex2 programme with heads and push aids and name the combination that gets through your bends before you order. Where only a crawler gets any further, we say that too.

Introduction and training

Every camera system bought from us comes with an introduction – at the instrument, on a real run. Guiding, image interpretation and care of the push cable are half the system’s value.

Service, repair and calibration

Service and repair run through the group’s workshop service with a direct line to the manufacturer – findings and cost estimate before the work.

Frequently asked questions

Which pipe dimensions are the MiniFlex cameras meant for?

For the small and medium dimensions where crawlers have no room – typically service and collector pipes. The exact span depends on head and cable; tell us your pipes, we name the set-up that fits.

What does the EasySmoker do in everyday use?

It fills a pipe with visible test smoke: where smoke escapes, there is an opening – wrongly connected vents, leaking transitions and rogue connections show themselves without any digging.

Can the cameras be located when the run is unknown?

Yes, with a traceable sonde at the head the camera position can be followed from the surface – the bridge from the inspection to the marked spot at the surface.
